International Ethernet Private Line (IEPL)
Our IEPL service provides secure, high-performance point-to-point connectivity between international locations, offering dedicated bandwidth for seamless global operations.
Overview
An International Ethernet Private Line links two sites across borders over a dedicated circuit. It does not cross the internet, so latency stays stable and other traffic has little effect.
It works at layer 2, so distant sites can behave as one layer 2 segment, and you stay in control of routing and VLAN design.
It costs more than an internet VPN and suits real-time applications, large transfers and sensitive traffic.
A layer 2 private line for business customers only, connected by cross connect (XC) inside the data center. It is not a tunnel.
Who it is for
- Businesses linking overseas offices to their internal network
- Businesses where real-time application quality matters
Features
Enhanced Security
IEPL uses a private, dedicated connection that doesn't traverse the public internet, providing inherent security for sensitive data transmission between your global locations.
Consistent Performance
With guaranteed bandwidth and low latency, our IEPL service ensures stable, high-speed connections ideal for mission-critical applications and real-time data sharing.
Global Reach
Connect your offices across major business hubs worldwide with our extensive network coverage in Tokyo, Singapore and Fremont.

FAQ
How long does it take to start?
Usually 1 to 2 months.
How is this different from an internet VPN?
A VPN is an encrypted tunnel over the internet, so quality depends on the internet. IEPL uses a dedicated circuit, so latency and bandwidth are stable.
