DODO Home Gateway
Keep your current connection and reach the DODO network over a WireGuard, IPIP, GRE or similar tunnel, with a static public IPv4 address and BGP.
Overview
DODO Home Gateway runs a tunnel over your current internet connection and reaches the internet through the DODO network. It does not include a line, so you keep your provider and contract.
Home connections often use dynamic addresses or CGNAT, which blocks inbound access. This service gives you a static public IPv4 address that is not shared, so you can host servers and devices at home.
If you have your own AS number, you can establish a BGP session with DODO over the tunnel and announce your own routes. IRR registration and RPKI (ROA) are required.
Tunnel is the only access we offer to home users. This service does not include an internet line. A tunnel runs over the connection you already pay for, and your traffic reaches the internet through the DODO network. Your line contract stays separate, and speed depends on that line (best effort).

Do I need to cancel my current line?
No. The service runs on top of it
Which tunnel type should I choose?
WireGuard encrypts traffic. IPIP and GRE only encapsulate it, so they have lower overhead but no encryption.
What does it cost?
JPY 1,100 a month on a 1-year contract, JPY 990 on 2 years and JPY 880 on 3 years, all including tax. If you cancel during the term, the fees for the remaining term are still due.
Is IPv6 available?
No IPv6 addresses are assigned. You get 1 IPv4 address.
Is speed guaranteed?
